I am concerned with:• Interim management on location• Providing training in equipment maintenance, cranes and technical management, in all layers of the organization (from higher management to the executive personnel)• Describing work processess, maintenance programs and business procedures in standardized guides• Putting out major tenders, recently for clients in Spain, Sri Lanka, Italy and GermanySome of the interim assignments I carried out:• Manager Equipment Maintenance in a terminal in Malaysia, managing 400+ people• Project manager for a specialist engineering project in South Africa• Project manager in a Californian terminal (USA)• Project manager for guiding and building the Dubai giant wheel• Guiding the dismantling of a nuclear power station in Germany, as well as supervisinging the new build of a specially-designed 22.000T overhead crane • Project manager for building and lifting the super structure of a football stadium roof in Italy• Monitoring and implementing a maintenance contract of 9 container bridge cranes on the Maasvlakte in The Netherlands. I restructured the branches, which enabled Konecranes to grow into the 8 million service organisation it is today. • Resolving malfunctions on cranes and container distribution systems• Developing and making special products as per the client’s brief• Developing and involved in proactive thinking on product enhancements• Building mobile cranes, both in construction and hydraulic terms, as well as the electrical assembly of the cranes• Maintenance, resolving malfunctions to all factory products on the go• Assisting the Technical Service in resolving end user malfunctions

• Making constructions on the chassis of special-purpose lorries. For example, for building up cranes, movable floors, vacuum vehicles etc. • Drawing technical specifications (electrical / hydraulic diagrams) for the lorries to be built• Resolving malfunctions on the go
