About Jennifer Thurman

Jen Thurman is an executive leadership coach who helps leaders raise their consciousness so they can step into their full expression and potential; build thriving teams; and cultivate balance, productivity and joy in all aspects of their lives. Jen brings a blend of deep corporate leadership experience, grounded intuition and expert coaching skills to her clients and their teams. As Chief Communications Officer for Dow Jones & Company and a member of the executive leadership team, Jen was instrumental in crystalizing that company’s mission, values and strategic pillars. But she’s most proud of the team she built there, leading with compassion and curiosity and empowering each individual to contribute their unique gifts to Dow Jones’s mission and success. Before that, she led the communications strategy for Medtronic’s Surgical Innovations – one of that company’s largest business units. She led strategic initiatives to drive growth and strengthen cohesion and culture across the organization. Prior to Medtronic, Jen was vice president of communications for a national building supply company – today called Builders First Source. There, she built a team and overhauled the communications strategy, planning and execution to support cultural integration and drive growth.
