AWS & Azure cloud development for LOB applications, custom application development using Asp.Net Core, Blazor, Node.js, Angular & more for the Department of Veteran Affairs

- Consulting for our client DoubleLine who will be taking on the role as a Data Sourcing Provider for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The BMGF enlisted DoubleLine to head the collection and delivery of metrics to measure grants the foundation has awarded to grantees for the Networks for School Improvement program. This program's main objective is to track and improve the quality and access to education from secondary to post-secondary education for underprivileged, economically adverse minority children in over 20 individual component programs in the US. DoubleLine's mission is to identify and collect metric data on de-identified student records, extend the Ed-Fi standard to incorporate this data, perform metrics & calculations on that data and deliver the data annually to the Gates foundation for further assessment and evaluation.

- As team lead, coordinating efforts of other developers to move tickets through Agile process, managing all code repos and handling pull request and merges to all branches up to Production- Perform duties to assist Collain in the process of establishing a fully vetted Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for an application the company has taken over from LG in Korea- Coordinated efforts to facilitate the hand over from the Korean off-shore team with Collain- Advise and aided CTO with the process of establishing a baseline for processes and procedures department wide and establishing a release control process for software versions- Coordinate efforts between developers and DBA’s- Mitigate and resolve Jira Tickets for Critical and High level issues that have been escalated to development - Implemented detailed procedures for deployment using Jenkins, managing source code versioning in Git using BitBucket, GitHub and Azure DevOps- Manage cloud process & services in Azure Cloud with RunBooks- Work extensively after hours with off shore team during hand over process- Act as peer review for tickets that have been completed prior to acceptance- Work with Product to establish plan for new features Federally mandated changes- Coaching & learning with developers through pair programming practices- Daily work to clear any blockers for any team member, always open to help.- Coordinated efforts during multiple emergency deployments supporting both the Korea team or from US team.- Recommended approach to software rewrite for specific modules to the application, an exit strategy from the “brown field” application to one with a less tightly coupled solution in C#, ASP.NET Core 2.2 and SQL Server using CleanCode Architecture

Currently working on 2 products for the Compeat line. One is an end to end hiring solution for our customers managing applicants, interviews, offers and all things new hire & HR related. This app uses Angular talking to WebAPI which converses with a SQL Server backend, Entity Framework, Unity, Bootstrap and a mix of other related web technologies. Another application I am currently working on is a logbook application for the day to day management of restaurant operations. The tech stack is React & Redux on the front-end hitting WebAPI working with Dapper and ultimately SQL Sever database. All source control is in GitHub. Work tickets and our product roadmap is managed in JIRA. I also have gained experience with Jenkins and Octopus.

• Develop and support main line business applications for internal and external insurance customers.• Technologies include C#, ASP.NET MVC 4, WCF, PetaPoco, CSS, SQL Server 2012, LESS, JQuery, JavaScript, XML, PowerShell. • Primarily focused on user interface design and web services architecture.

• Developed and support 4 iPhone applications available in the app store.• Technologies used include JavaScript, SQLite, Titanium Studio, JSON, Google Charts API, Objective C & XCode• The applications are small scale personal projects I created to familiarize myself with iPhone application development.• Currently the applications earn about $100-$150 a month with over 2300 downloads so far.

• Development efforts include designing, coding, debugging and testing web applications for the WIC Staff application portal.• Technologies used include ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, Unity, JQuery, JQueryUI, LINQ, CSS and HTML. • Visual Studio 2010 for debugging and designing the web application. • SQL Server 2008 was utilized as the backend database. • Worked extensively on a local team in an Agile project management methodology, documenting user stories and tasks in Rally as a project team member.

• Development efforts include designing, analyzing, coding, debugging, integrating and testing web services and portal interfaces for a cloud catalog offering in the Cisco Intelligent Automation for Cloud solution. • Technologies used include Cisco Cloud Portal (formerly NewScale) as a front-end portal for cloud catalog presentation, integrating web service calls to Cisco Process Orchestrator (formerly TidalSoft Process Orchestrator) using SOAP and REST calls. • SoapUI for debugging and designing SOAP message and REST calls. • Utilized Eclipse as a development environment for coordinating message events. • Designed processes for 0-day product installation to streamline CIAC. • Worked with VMware, UCS and Cisco Server Provisioner processes for cloud service provisioning. • Worked extensively on a distributed team in an Agile project management methodology, collaborating with quality assurance team, end users, and documenting user stories and tasks in Rally as a project team member. • Documented work via wiki for collaborative team communication and clarification of specifications.• Developed end to end service catalog offerings from orchestration process through the service catalog portal.• Created translations for service catalog.• Implemented Active Form Components in a reusable fashion for use through out the service catalog.• Developed custom javascript portlets for custom presentation using ExtJS.• Worked in the development of lease management strategy for virtual and physical resources maintained by service catalog.

• Current development efforts include designing, coding, debugging, testing and fostering collaborative social interaction through custom work flows utilizing web service architecture in three different portal environments. • Act as a contributing team member to site traffic analysis and site promotion through Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques. • Software & technologies utilized include XML, XSLT, Javascript, ASP.NET, C# and SQL Server 2008.

• Development efforts were under contract with the Texas Water Development Board developing an application for water usage across the State of Texas.• Technologies involved are ASP.NET 2.0, VS.NET 2008, SQL Server 2005 and SQL Reporting Services. • The application gathers survey information and provides pre & post gathering analysis of the volume and usage of water resources by municipalities and industrial water user groups. • The application utilizes a custom built n-tier framework provided by TWDB and adheres to the application standards prescribed by TWDB. • Personally involved in requirements gathering, architecture of the solution and adhering to the TWDB SDLC.• Other applications being developed in parallel include a reporting solution for use with SQL Server Reporting Services. • This application provides a streamlined way for internal TWDB users to publish reports to public, private and internal audiences. • The application utilizes SQL Server 2005 and ASP.NET 3.0 integrated with SQL Server Reporting Services web service architecture.

• Develop web applications in .NET 2.0 C# & VB.Net using VS .Net 2005. • Backend database work (stored procedures) are in SQL Server 2005. • Completed projects include developing a Conference Registration & Management application and an Issue Tracking web application for managing internal and external office communications also created custom icons, skins & style sheets for common applications using Adobe Photoshop. • Current projects include developing Operational Guidelines for work area business operations to be reviewed & approved by management, additionally developing and application that involves tracking, alerting & reporting Payment Error Rate Measurement (PERM) communications & exchanges with Federal & contracting agencies in order to circumvent possible incorrect errors & aid Internal Affairs in the pursuit of PERM related issues for HHSC. • This application is a multi-tiered object oriented application written in C# on the ASP.NET 2.0 platform utilizing a SQL Server 2005 database environment. • In this project I utilized Enterprise Library 2.0 to encapsulate best practices in the business logic layer, incorporated Infragistics controls to enhance the user experience & leveraged local SQL server reports for reporting purposes through the application. • Following that I created templates to further streamline future development. • The databases & servers involved are staged in a development, test, user acceptance testing & production environments with clear separation of duties between myself and Team for Texas. • Releases are completed weekly with all requirements being fulfilled by June 23th, 2008 and release to user acceptance testing occurring on the 24th. • Documented all requirements, use cases, mock user interfaces, test cases, traceability matrix and other UML/modeling diagrams as needed to effectively communicate back to the customer her needs as understood. • Software used for documentation was Enterprise Architect by Sparx Systems.

• Develop and maintain web applications in C#, VB.Net and ASP using Visual Studio .Net 2003. • Extensively worked with SQL Server 2000 to develop DTS packages, stored procedures & views for a variety of applications. • Projects included developing key features of a budget analysis web application and a human resources web application. • Budgeting application focused on providing hypothetical budget “runs” to better allocate agency grant funding to mandated educational programs. • Human resources Work closely with other team members in tightly controlled development environment. • Limited use of UML for development and requirements gathering.
