Hired as a Leaders In Training Team Lead, but carried out additional roles. Leaders In Training (L.I.T.)is a program designed to teach leadership skills to young teens (ages 12-14) while shadowing camp leaders during the BGC youth summer camp programs. I designed 2 training week programs for the months of July and August. After the 1st week training week of each month, I supervised my L.I.Ts on summer camp outings helping out with younger kids. L.I.T was seasonal so I got to perform in other roles within the organization before and after my program.My additional roles included: -child development mentor (working with young kids to provide care in out-of-school care) -Teen club-worker (supervised the drop-in teen club and planned activities)
