Jett is a current first year student at the University of Queensland with a passion for knowledge and its applications through innovation and sustainable technologies. Jett is studying a dual degree, with bachelors in Chemical Engineering (Metallurgical) and Commerce, where he will be a member of St John's College on the UQ campus. Jett was recently awarded the 2023 Ausenco Engineering Graduate Scholarship, and is excited to begin his industry journey with the leading Australian engineering firm throughout the duration of his degree. Jett is passionate about solving the problems facing the world now and in the future through sustainable mining technologies as well as research and development of renewable energy within the Australian economy.In his spare time, Jett operates a Brisbane based tutoring network with colleagues Alex Grant and Toby Garraway who both seek to provide extensive academic support at high school and university levels. Founding LearnLink Tutoring Solutions in 2024, Jett seeks to enhance the academic experience of LearnLink's students through innovative solutions and emerging teaching methods, both online and in-person.
