Green Guide is an NGO focused on a number of environmental projects in Allerød through citizen engagement. As chairman of the board, Jette has contributed to idea development and strategic direction in collaboration with the board and the secretariat with regards to the annual project plan and finances.Examples of projects:- Measurement and analysis of particle pollution from wood stoves in private homes.- "Climate families", a project where families practice to change their climate habits and/or invest in climate solutions in their homes. The climate families write press content on their personal experiences, with support from the Green Guide, over a period of six months.

The Danish Eco Council works with nature and environment in the intersections between agriculture and water, chemicals, food, energy and climate, traffic and air pollution, construction and housing.As a board member, Jette has been involved in defining the overall guidelines for the secretariat's work with regards to strengthening impactful areas of action.

The Danish Consumer Council (Forbrugerrådet Tænk)The Consumer Council represents the interests of consumers to the government, parliament, public authorities and the business community.The Council promotes sustainable, balanced and socially responsible consumption, in addition to strenghtening consumer rights and consumer positioning in the market.As a council member, Jette has been participating in the development of the overall strategy and taking part in specific working groups.

Project planning, management and implementation of green initiatives in the project 'Green Lifestyle' tailored to local homeowner associations. Jette led the development, knowledge sharing and implementation of environmental initiatives together with the associations and citizens. The project highlighted the effects it has when individual citizens change their habits and decisions with regards to their homes.The project produced the popular concept of Thermo-screening "Home Parties" with homeowners to identify energy saving potential through possibilities for insulation and renovation.

At DTU (Technical University of Denmark), Jette researched and analyzed the "6 om dagen" campaign for a healthy intake of fruits and vegetables under the EU program 'Obesity Governance Template for assessment of Best Practice Initiative'.Jette was tasked with analyzing the Danish interventions; fruit in schools and canteens, which included:- Qualitative interviews with key stakeholders, including food authorities, fruit and vegetable industry as well as the project group at the Danish Cancer Society, which was the secretariat for the campaign.- Review of reports published from 1999 - 2011 on trends in consumer habits around fruit and vegetables, as well as evaluations of the action areas.The conclusions were presented at an EU conference. A number of valuable experiences have been gained in the project through Public-private partnership cooperation. The "6 om dagen" campaign is considered to have made a positive difference to the intake of fruit and vegetables in Denmark, and the dietary advice is anchored in large parts of the Danish population. "6 om dagen" was also chosen as the best Danish campaign under the auspices of the Danish Cancer Society.Additionally, Jette contributed to efforts on strategic energy planning in connection with the Carbon20 municipalities.

Screening of material and energy usage for the furniture production conducted by the company, which made it possible to map the company's CO2 emissions, and prepare a chronological description of PP Møbler's environmental and climate initiatives, indicating an ongoing commitment.Responsibility for the preparation of material within environment, climate, sustainability & CSR for sponsorship application to the UN for the Climate Summit COP15`s VIP lounge. The furniture in the project had a value of DKK 5 million.Based on the company's environmental profile, CSR efforts, Danish design and production, PP Møbler was chosen as the main sponsor, and got to furnish the VIP lounge for the Heads of State at the COP15 climate summit in Bella Center. Barack Obama, then U.S. president, was "immortalized" in Hans Wegner's design "The chair" from PP Møbler, which John F. Kennedy sat in 50 years earlier. By direct request, the chair was used in the U.S. press room, where the pictures of Obama in "The Chair" went around the world during a TV interview, ensuring significant traction for PP Møbler.

As Chief Secretary, Jette administered ministerial matters, managed the calendar for the Director and Deputy Director and carried out various secretarial tasks.As a press officer, Jette were tasked with: Editing articles on the Danish Nature Agency's website using the CMS system.Uploading material, establishing and maintaining links.Handling press inquiries and contributing input to newsletters.
