As Executive Officer at the Australia China Business Council (ACBC) Jette worked directly with the National CEO and Board to implement the goals and objectives of the Council. She led the delivery of ACBC’s annual Canberra Networking day, regular member programming, as well as, a suite of events hosted at Parliament House alongside the historic signing of the China-Australia Free Trade Agreement and visit of Chinese President, Xi Jinping.

NSW Farmers Association is a dynamic member-based advocacy group working for the interests of the NSW farming and agriculture community. My short time at NSW Farmers saw me aid in the development of an industry action plan to future-proof NSW farming. The opportunities and challenges presented by the Asian century, productivity, investment, and infrastructure were all key themes.

My time at Burma Campaign Australia (BCA) saw me working on an action plan for the promotion of human rights and democracy within Myanmar to coincide with Myanmar’s 2014 Chairmanship of the Association of South East Nations (ASEAN). This project had considerable scope and dealt with a complexity of political, social and legal issues within South East Asia and neighbouring regions.
