NIGEL A. CAMPBELL is a music businessman focused on expanding the appeal of Island Music globally via new media, live performance and distribution. He graduated from the University of Toronto in 1984. He publishes the periodical Jazz in the Islands. He is a director of Production One Ltd, a company that produces Jazz Artists on the Greens, the largest Caribbean Jazz event in Trinidad and other live music events. He also writes and blogs on the music industry in Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean, freelancing for print media and digital platforms, writing music reviews and covering the music business there. His interests are the music business in small economies, and the development of markets for Caribbean music internationally.
