I managed the day-to-day operations of Asmara Coffee - TriBeCa’s Specialty Coffee brand. This involves production planning, inventory and CHEP management, quality control, green coffee buying, coffee roasting and packaging as well as new business development and liaising with wholesales accounts - including grocery chains, corporates, hotels and cafes.I also competed in SCASA Regional and National Barista Competitions. I am a two-time National Barista Championship Finalist, and placed 3rd in South Africa in 2020.

My role was to support wholesale clients - to ensure that they were always happy, and that their coffee tasted delicious. My focus was on coffee education and barista training, and I spent as much time as possible developing myself into an expert in the coffee production process, from green coffee buying to roasting, packaging and brewing. I offered turnkey coffee solutions and expert advice to give customers the best platform for their coffee programs.

I was a Junior Management and IT Consultant at Mediro Analytics, a division of Mediro-ICT. My role specifically involved the interpretation and analysis of big data for clients like AfriSam and Total, using Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau and SAP Lumira, with the goal of providing solutions in order to increase productivity, improve business performance and build strategy.

I lectured Sound Engineering theory to first-year Sound Engineering students.
