Responsibility for~60 employees, business across all regions of Latvia and Riga, Baltic relations with peers from Lithuania and Estonia. What motivated me was a new role and new challenges - to become Leader of Leaders. Absolutely new page on how you achieve your goals, new, different, page on Leadership & motivation. Least to say that it was great opportunity to fundamentally accelerate my KYC/AML knowledge through hard talks with our valuable clients and decision taking in committees. Demanding & at the same time Amazing journey for almost 4 years!

Experience gained through working with Largest Cross-Border clients for almost 10 years as a Corporate Client Executive, has developed my understanding of corporate financing, client business needs and leadership. So, for me it was a natural choice to take a lead of the department I knew so well. Though according to the inspiring book written by Michael Watkins "The First 90 days" - growing from within is one of the most challenging ways for new team Manager.

When I noticed open position in Cross-Border Customer Department, it was no-brainer for me that this is my way. After all, I have studied languages for 4 years in my Bachelors degree and now I could add 2 years of SME service experience. No doubts - it was a big step for me, since my ambitions and willingness surpassed my professional skillset. But my next manager, Ieva Vigante, somehow believed in me and my energy and gave me a trust credit I needed so much.

After ~2years of extensive learning as a Client Consultant in the branch network and earning several awards for advanced sales results, I got an opportunity to join Corporate Client Service Department. Of course - junior at the beginning, but growing my knowledge and my own approach rapidly on the go. In January 2007 I was promoted to Leading SME Client Executive for doing smth right I guess.

My co-operation with Swedbank started as Client Consultant in the branch - which is great entry point and a place to learn customer habits, patterns, needs and most important - organizational culture. It was amazing learning journey with awesome colleagues that welcomed me and supported with advice when it was needed. Observing Corporate banking colleagues back then has helped me to understand that I want to take exactly this journey. And I have not regretted it a single day.
