I was a part of an off-shore team working on a business critical financial application using these tools and technologies: Spring Framework, Hibernate, Apache Tiles, JSP, Acegi Security, HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, Ext JS, Jason, J2SE 1.5, Maven etc.My primary task was to develop services, controllers and front end of the web-based application. Besides this task I was participating in development meetings (including one-to-one) with on-shore team members and their management discussing application architecture, tasks and issues. I was working very tight with on-shore business analysts, trying to make requirements and use cases, they were preparing, perfect.Unfortunately I left the company after successful launch of the 1st phase of the project.

I was managing company’s CRM, ERP & web systems. Preparing project requirements for an off-shore team of developers.Day to day tasks were to support company's internal and external users, solving technical problems, giving suggestions, testing and launching software projects developed by off-shore developers, reporting bugs, discussing project schedules and gathering requirements for the new projects. Internal user support includes trainings for company's stuff, writing help and manuals etc. External customer support includes answering different questions on company's XML interface and web systems, helping on other B2B and B2C systems.Another part of my tasks was making some local software development for the systems not supported by off-shore team. I've been using these technologies in my applications: MS SQL, XML, HTML, CSS, ASP, VBScript, JavaScript, IIS, Visual Basic.

Company was building Digital Terrestrial Television Broadcasting Network in Latvia.I was working on Multimedia Home Platform (MHP) application development using Java, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, WML, XML, XSLT, MySQL.
