With two decades of experience in the publishing industry, I lead Embolden Media Group, a literary agency and publishing consulting firm that helps authors and publishers reach diverse and global audiences with quality content. I have authored eight books, ghostwritten and edited hundreds of titles, and acquired well-platformed authors for placement with traditional publishers. I am now pursuing a master's degree in English, with a focus on Africana/African American literature, to deepen my knowledge and passion for creating a more diverse and equitable literary landscape.Advocating for inclusion and equity for diverse voices in publishing, I serve as a consultant to the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA) and a member of the organization's diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) subcommittee. I also provide community and education for aspiring writers, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds, and founded a group called Christian Publishing Professionals of Color, which offers support, career opportunities, and community for BIPOC in Christian publishing. As a conference speaker, workshop facilitator, writing coach, and mentor, I share the best of what I know with passionate, creative, and influential people who desire to publish great books that make a difference.
