My role includes Managing the internal and customer databases globally across Asia, US, APAC and EMEA. About Oracle Retail Project:Development Support Services is a group which maintains all the databases of Oracle Retail products. Having about 2000 databases to support DSS has formulated multiple standards to maintain the source code of the databases. DSS provides support to around 35 retail products and the support includes maintenance of source code in version controllers, database maintenance, and database design maintenanceRetail Cloud POC Projects: Oracle Retail Products – Oracle Merch product, Retail Analytics/Insights and Oracle Retail Science Engine. Oracle Moved to Cloud for Retail product mentioned above. Involved in Retail Cloud Projects setting up Oracle Retail Analytics/Insights and Oracle Retail Science in Oracle Cloud Environment. Cordinate with OCI team for software IQ documentation and supporting RBE and VBE environments.Planned and upgraded/migrated the database to newer release as per the requirement (Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c, Oracle Designer, Data modeler, SVN, Oracle Forms/Batches.). Installed and configure retail products RMS, ReIM, RPM, ALLOC, SIM, RFM, RWMS, RETL,RA/RI, RDE, ARI etc., Version Controlling, Shell Scripting, Scripts Migration, Database design and maintenance, VeriSign SSL configuration and configuring secure listener, Retail Product Installer Testing for its working and Product specific ddls creation projects.

Database Administrator and Application DBA:Support and maintain more than 10 oracle retail application including Development,QA and production environment. Responsible for installation, upgrades, patches, TAR support, database tuning, concurrent manager administration, cloning and Oracle Apps SYSADMIN functions. Duties included database creation, database tuning/reorganization, developer/integrator relations, script development. Maintain Code base in PVCS and CVS. Database object relations are maintained in designer.Roles & Responsibility Lead a team at ISC(Apps and Sys DBA) Support and maintain Oracle Applications including production  Apply database and applications patches. Migration involve Form, batch (pro*c),Database change script,control script,package ,trigger etc Perform SQL tuning Assist developers with coding PL/SQL.

Database Admin :Retail Price Management (ORPM):I was working on developing the future version of Retail Price Management(RPM) product and enhancement of the functionalities in RPM.RPM is a pricing and promotion execution tool primarily used in the retail industry .With RPM, retailers are empowered to automate and streamline pricing strategies across the organization that yields a more predictable and profitable outcome. It provides decision support of all pricing-focused business information, allowing the retailer to validate and approve pricing and markdown suggestions. This approach results in higher margins.

Database Administrator:Syncra/VCC (Value chain collaboration)A Syncra product supports the industry-standard Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) guidelines.It features a Web-based, many-to-many architecture. This enables manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and retailers to collaborate with their trading partners to reduce inventory and improve customer service levels and sales. CPFR combines the intelligence of buyers and sellers in predicting demand and aligning supply.The role of CPFR technology is to develop and share event plans,Develop and share POS forecasts and order plans, Identify and collaborate on exception conditions, Adjust plans to resolve exceptions, Evaluate key performance metricsVCC is built on open, many-to-many collaboration architecture. Database and Business Objects AdministratorPresto is a HP Web Interface giving users access to the European OPG (Order Processing Guidelines) database. It can provide you with various data relating to a given OPG and allow you to extract various OPG reports. The Presto On-line application is an Intranet Web Site providing fast and easy access to reports containing shipment data from XPRESS2/L4 databases validated against the OPGs stored in the Spider Repository. Its interface allows for a dynamic customization of the reports, by means of search criteria selection. The OPGs themselves can be visualized and printed for further use

Title Accruals and Application - ProductClient CITIBANK N.ARole:Accrual Application is mainly designed to cater to the needs of the bank, to calculate the interest to be paid or charged based on the balance of the customer accounts. Interest accrual frequency is parameterized (daily / weekly / monthly).The application of the interest accrued to the customer accounts is based on the application frequency which may be either standard or special. It also facilitates in accruing interest for the back dated transactions and future value dated transactions. Global parameters like benchmark rates and time basis are also considered in calculating the interest. The interest rate maintained is based on amount slabs and the interest calculation can be done either as tiered incremental or tiered cumulative. Delinquency tracking is also included in this module. The tax calculation is highly parameterized and is based on the rates maintained at domicile code level. Interest statements and advice s are generated at the time of application. Built-in report facilities are provided for analyzing the profit portfolio management
