Leading Nasscom's efforts to support and grow the IP/Deep-tech led startup ecosystem in India. Initiatives spanned across the following areas:1. Policy Advocacy with the Government: Regularly interfacing and advising senior government officials and Ministers on matters such as India AI mission, proposed AI regulation bill, new startup incentive and support policies, National Deeptech startup policy tabled with Meity etc.2. IP matters: Evolving the IP framework and policies and working with startups to encourage and support IP filing and protection.3. Patient Capital: Working with the VC ecosystem (and government subsidy and grant programs) to evolve a patient capital framework and pool that can support Deeptech startups.4. Mentoring and Talent Development: Council supports and runs the Nasscom Deeptech Club - a highly curated set of 300+ startups which get significant support and mentoring through a passionate community of ecosystem volunteers. 5. Market Access: Through Industry Connect programs and the marquee InnoTrek (Middle east and USA) initiative, the council helps startups get connects/access to enterprise customers across the world.The flagship annual technology conference, Nasscom Future Forge (earlier branded as Nasscom Product Conclave) is also organized by the Deeptech Council.

Few key call outs:- Revamped the entire tech stack to be multi-tenanted and to be able to deprecate the legacy Jabong tech stack and make it just another tenant on our platformized stack. This also paves the way for the business to host the stores of the franchise brands like Mango, Esprit and others in the pipeline on the same platform.- Several data science wins (moved the offline and limited personalization engine to a dynamic LTR - Learning to Rank/online model for significant improvements in key metrics, Fashion design through AI/Vorta Engine, SABRE - Smart AI Based Returns Engine, Sentient - Escalation prediction/preemption engine using voice/tonality analysis and NLP/Sentiment analysis, Tech Led Automated Pricing Engine full revamp for both portfolio pricing and personalized pricing and several others)- We built a significantly improved and consistent agile implementation practice across all the teams, level of test automation and regression suites, streamlined production deployments and automation through tooling). We were the first company within the group to attain the ISO 27001 certification. - Scaled the platforms across the board and streamlined runbooks and self service tooling for configuration/feature gates to run HRD (High Revenue Day/Scale events) smoothly.

R&D at Bangalore.Core Content Services:Content Platform is the technology backbone for ingesting, processing, serving content to all our end user facing customer properties which are industry leaders in their verticals (Yahoo! Sports, News, Finance etc). The volume and variety of data that we process ranges from Web Crawl Data to structured data feeds from our media partners (eg: syndicated news feeds from Reuters, finance stock ticker quotes etc) and can range from small data packets that we pick up every few seconds to huge data packs that we pick up/process once every few hours. There are also a variety of formats and delivery protocols that we support for enabling this firehose of data. The sheer scale of the data ingested/processed and the huge serving QPS make for a very interesting/challenging engineering problem. Knowledge and Personalization Services (KAPS):The charter of KAPS is to create highly personalized/relevant experience for customers. Specifically, our teams are working on machine learning algorithm for content optimization and relevance, models for detecting trending topics by using content, query/click-view signals and social media signals (tweet stream analysis). We are also doing a semantic web initiative (Web of Objects) for extracting data from the unstructured web corpus and various other sources.
