I am an Aerospace Engineering student at the University of Central Florida, originally from Puerto Rico, passionate about space exploration and the universe's mysteries. I am on track to graduate in Spring 2025, driven by a strong academic background and a dedication to advancing aerospace technology.Currently, I am an Engineering Intern at Public Works Altamonte, where I aid the Professional Engineer in projects involving the rehabilitation of city Lift Stations and the wastewater plant. My role includes creating and updating numerous standard details in CAD, becoming proficient in reading engineering plans, and identifying various engineering utilities and symbols. I attend interdisciplinary engineering meetings to discuss project outcomes and oversee Lift Stations under construction, gaining comprehensive experience from project inception to completion. My contributions have optimized efficiency, reduced workload, and established me as a reliable and trustworthy resource for the entire department.I am actively involved in the Knights Experimental Rocketry (KXR) team, contributing to the design and manufacturing of innovative propulsion systems. This involvement has provided me with valuable experience in propulsion technologies and collaborative project development.Additionally, I participate in the SolidWorks Student Leadership Program, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, and Students for the Exploration and Development of Space. Fluent in English and Spanish, with intermediate proficiency in French, I bring diverse linguistic and technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Ansys, MATLAB, C++, and CSWA.My ultimate goal is to work with a pioneering company in space exploration, contributing to the colonization of Mars. As the first in my family to earn a degree, I am driven to excel and make a meaningful impact in the aerospace industry.
