I love sports - it has always been a part of me and made me a better person, professionally and personally. Not only did I celebrate wins and personal achievements, sports also taught me to learn from losses. It equally fueled my competitiveness as well as made me value team strength. Having the privilege of working at the largest sporting goods company for over 13 years, I successfully integrated these experiences and skills into my professional career. I was able to work and grow in a very competitive and fast-paced environment. Constantly adapting to change, staying curious and establishing a growth mindset are just some of my personal values which are also embedded in Nike's DNA.I was able to learn from great leaders over the years through roles in various functions and territories. By instilling trust, I quickly became a respected member of incredible, diverse teams. A multitude of x-functional experiences within these teams helped me strengthen my communication- and stakeholder (internally & externally) management skills. I spent the majority of my professional career in teams managing some of Nike's largest accounts. In those roles, I significantly improved:- my account management skills through direct account exposure on multiple levels- my marketplace knowledge through identifying consumer and market trends- my strategic and big picture thinking by developing long term financial plans Through roles in various planning functions, I developed strong analytical skills. which I utilized as:- an assortment financial/retail planner, focused on product and bottoms-up planning- a business/merchandise financial planner, developing tops-down strategic plans In addition to my day to day job, I've been fortunate enough to be part, as well as lead several projects on shaping team culture. I'm very passionate about personal growth and development. Nike has enabled me to follow that passion by implementing a culture of feedback and inclusion. Further I'm extremely proud of driving initiatives to accelerate individual growth and career development within our teams.Including my previous experiences in Nike operations and supply chain, I have built a diverse and unique skill-set. Paired with my creative personality and strong passion for product, I'm very well-rounded, always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow further.
