Accountable for the HR activities in the refinery: remuneration, performance management, HR advisory, union interaction within the German co-determination model, skills development, apprenticeship training and HR related admininstration.As HR work stream leader for the Godorf and Weseling refineries in the Shell-RWE DEA corporate merger integration team. Support of the implementation of Leadership Development initiatives with focus on Change Management in Shell Europe.

As Change Manager responsible for the refinery wide program to improve the competitiveness of the business unit through the implementation of cross departmental strategic initiatives targeting cost reduction (DM 30 Mio/a) and margin improvement (DM 70 Mio/a). Focus on reenginering of maintenance processes incl. organizational restructuring and the implementation of capital projects. Close cooperation with the refinery management team and the works council as staff representative. The program was successfully implemented achieving DM 128 Mio/a.

Implementation of initiatives supporting the corporate transition from National to Pan European optimization of the value chain.
