Manage staff of 8 election inspectors and bilingual interpreters during 15-hour shifts in primary and general elections. Previous positions included election inspecter and precinct clerk. Collaborate with municipal, state and federal officials.

Liaison for the call center at Angell Animal Medical Center, affiliated with the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, one of the busiest, oldest and largest animal hospitals in the country. Responsibilities include triaging client calls with specialty doctors and services. Previously a specialty technician in the neurology department. Responsibilities included assisting staff neurologists with physical exams, venipuncture, diagnostic imaging and prescriptions. Primary point of contact for clients. In addition have written letters for the Medical Review Committee responding to customer complaints and concerns. Collaborated with the development department on major donor and fundraising events. Collaborated with the advocacy department lobbying state legislators on issues of concern to the MSPCA.

Directed and assisted in event planning, staff recruitment and training, catering and on-site management. Clients were both direct contract and subcontracted. Clients included the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Bulger-Kennedy Associates and Boston-area churches and synagogues.

Developed statewide trainings, forums and educational events. Targeted audiences were the general public and constituencies such as police and community organizations. Goals and objectives included teaching about federal and state statutes defining hate crimes, how to report them, bias indicators and best practices guidelines. Responsibilities also included conducting board of directors meetings; producing "The Annual Report on Hate Crimes in Massachusetts;" public speaking; and grant writing. Collaborated extensively with the Attorney General's Office and the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination.

Facilitated and designed HIV-risk-reduction trainings, forums and workshops. According to the Department of Public Health, about 20,000 attended in that 10-year period. Responsibilities also included managing volunteers; presentations at local, state and national conferences; reviewing grant proposals; and developing media and advertising campaigns. Cited in William Johnston's 19995 book, "How the Uninfected are Affected by AIDS." In 1999 presented with a unanimously-passed resolution by the Boston City Council in recognition of my work at the AIDS Action Committee, particularly in communities of color.
