Helped build a Transaction Banking business from the ground up and was responsible for developing the original Business Case, Product Strategy, Architecture blueprint and selection of components of the core platform running in the public cloud. Within the Citigroup Treasury and Trade Solutions organization, I led the global team responsible for technology standards, vendor evaluations, application architecture, code quality, and building an enterprise architecture capability. The team was distributed across India, Ireland and the United States. Leadership responsbilities included:- Head of the Global Application and Integration Architecture team driving best practices and adoption of Microservices, PAAS, DevOps and Cloud Computing across the application portfolio. - Head of Security, Authentication & Entitlements Technology Domain covering multiple global regulatory initiatives and innovation projects. - Lead Architect for the FATCA Tax Regulatory Program across 80 countries. - Architecture Practice Manager for the Trade, Core Banking and Electronic Channels organizations- Enterprise Architect responsible for Treasury, Sales and LATAM Payments & Core Banking Architecture

Primary focus was driving Enterprise Architecture and IT best practices across the Investment Bank Division. Mandate included Target Architecture development, application design principles, Front-to-Back data sourcing, industry standard messaging formats, application platform adoption, application portfolio rationalization, project governance and developer training. Role included : - Lead Architect for the Investment Banking Technology FATCA Regulatory program- Business Project Lead for the Global Web Services Infrastructure initiative- Core Architecture partner for the Client Technology organization- SME for the Investment Banking Technology SOA and Platform transformation strategy.

Maintained relationships with vendors to drive business requirements and identify emerging trends.

Lead Engineer on an enterprise SOA platform using CORBA, Web Services and Messaging technologies. Designed and developed the core platform, C++ and PL/1 language bindings, and key Services. Provided consulting to key applications as the SOA platform grew to support thousands of Services. Maintained relationships with strategic vendors to ensure best of breed solutions.

Consulting in Integration Technologies (CORBA, Web Services, API and Messaging and the early days of virtualization and deployment). Helped build and grow a Swiss office operating as Orbism GmbH based in Zurich and managing consultants throughout Switzerland.

Technical middleware consultant focusing on the Orbix product and working with IONA's enterprise customers to design and implement CORBA based solutions as they started to move away from mainframe platforms towards SOA and API architectures. Worked in the Engineering team in Dublin and with the Professional Services team across multiple European engagements and pre-sales activities. Core technologies included Orbix C++, OrbixWeb (Java) and Orbix Mainframe.
