-Managing all Marine Cargo Claims to/from the Americas for clients from first notice of loss through final resolution.-Provides bespoke reporting to principals including analysis of unique coverage issues, applicable legal/regulatory doctrines, and recommendations on prospective strategies for settlement. -Reviews policy terms and conditions to ensure proper application of all applicable warranties and limitations. -Coordinates with all stakeholders throughout the claims process to ensure proper handling of cargo until claims can be resolved.-Assigns marine surveyors and recovery agents to pursue further investigation or subrogation actions as warranted.

-Oversee investigations into complex insurance claims including Marine, International Shipping/Transportation, Auto, Personal Injury, Premises Liability, Construction, and Worker's Compensation (including Jones Act/LHWCA)-Experience handling both 1st and 3rd party claims.-Coordinate with Government agencies (EPA, SBA, and Courts).-Directly negotiate claim and suit settlements. Experience in both 1-on-1 and group negotiations between various stakeholders including unrepresented claimants, attorneys, and executive officers.-Analyze contracts, agreements, and local and federal regulations for potential impacts on liability/indemnity, statutory limitations, as well as other factors affecting coverage and recovery. -Draft and present reports on investigation findings to executive leadership. Reports include overall claim evaluations, review of applicable legal documents, proposed reserves, and actionable recommendations as to prospective settlements, legal strategies, or further investigations

-Contributed to an interdisciplinary team tasked with evaluating marketing, client outreach, and sourcing procedures at a gourmet food importer. -Investigated internal process improvements with focus on low cost, easily implementable solutions to generate specific plans based on primary and secondary research -Demonstrated prospective advantages of findings directly with company CEO.

-Led four-person team evaluating consumer market research provided by FOX Deportes pertaining to the brand’s image, visibility, awareness and strengths.-Integrated secondary research to generate strategies which could be implemented to increase viewership, with special focus on Latin American outreach.-Presented viable strategies to FOX Executives and in-house Marketing Research team during a series of presentations which explored solutions in depth.

-Independently designed and distributed a market research survey for a residential and commercial property management firm. -Collaborated with senior management to establish research goals including long-term tenant retention and overall brand growth strategies. -Implemented two stage research: a quantitative questionnaire disseminated to all available tenants, and followed up with qualitative interviews conducted 1-on-1 with select tenants. -Analyzed results utilizing Qualtrics and Tableau; translated analysis into low cost solutions which could be immediately implemented by staff.

-Led three-person team to procure The Green Chicpea, a local restaurant, as a client; designed research survey to pinpoint brand weaknesses and discern the desirability of various proposed promotional activities/slogans.-Evaluated resulting data with Tableau and SPSS programs to identify meaningful results.-Delivered a final report focused on leveraging existing brand strengths to develop novel clientele.
