From 2020 onwrads, I have been producing, mixing and releasing Drum & Bass music (among other genres) under the name Flint & Figure.I have multiple releases on major streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music, have released signed tracks on labels like Liquicity and Celsius Recordings, and perform regularly at parties such as DARK MODE, Liquicity and SKY BASS.

In 2022 I set up DARK MODE Events, an event organization that specializes in organizing Drum & Bass parties in Rotterdam. Since 2019, I have been working on various freelance projects for multiple Dutch clients. These mainly involved writing Flutter applications, creating Dart backend APIs, prototyping UI designs, and training and mentoring fellow developers.

As Bloom was a small scale-up when I joined, I worked for and expanded our clientele, lead the way to create a consistent architecture for our apps, and taught my fellow colleagues about Flutter and CI/CD infrastructure. On the side, I’ve built the foundation for a commercial, modular training program that allowed us to teach companies and individuals based on their needs.

In 2019, I became a Google Developer Expert for the programming language Dart and the mobile UI toolkit Flutter.

As a Senior Engineer, I was responsible for designing the architecture of software, creating tools for other developers, researching solutions to technical problems, delegating tasks, and guiding and mentoring fellow engineers.
