Advised the UC Davis Police Department on applicability of federal statutes restricting the possession of firearms by beneficiaries of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. Analyzed the requirements imposed by the Texas Medical Privacy Act on interstate human-subject research that involves video recordings of patient-doctor interactions. Drafted guidelines for the University’s parking citation agency on how to comply with recent changes to the California Vehicle Code that mandate the offering of payment plans to indigent persons.

Served as primary point of contact for the University’s high-profile donors and stakeholders. Drafted funding proposals, persuasive letters, and marketing materials on behalf of the University. Reported directly to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Development, providing routine support and independently managing various projects aimed at building and maintaining external relationships, creating strategies for internal and external communications, identifying the needs and goals of the various University departments, and improving processes to effectively meet those needs and goals.

Managed several independent projects while reporting directly to the Executive Director of the Blum Center for Developing Economies under the School of Engineering, working both alone and with teams.
