Database optimization tool for SQL databases- Built with Node.js runtime (in Electron) an application that runs exclusively on a local machine for the purposes of security along with minimizing variables and maximizing control over the environment in which the analytics are run for the purpose of testing the performance of different database architectures and the queries run against those structures- Deployed Docker and Docker Compose within the application to create a container environment for isolated database testing and a simplified user setup experience by packaging docker with an image of a database management system alongside the application itself- Implemented a relational database within Docker to allow the user to import an existing database setup and data or build a new instance of a schema with fabricated data- Designed and implemented a dynamic algorithm that generates custom data to populate an empty database to any scale necessary by creating unique data according to user specification or through an imported API for random data based on user-designated formats- Implemented and configured Webpack to create a more efficient and reduced applicationbundle for improved performance and a smaller downloadable package.- Utilized React with React Hooks to manage state, modularize components, and further simplify data flow within the electron environment to create a dynamic, fast, and intuitive user interface- Leveraged Typescript throughout the application to reduce errors, enforce strict type adherence across components, and provide clarity for open-source contributors
