My current position involves several duties. First I am responsible for leading the River's Edge design team providing mentor-ship from concept phase through execution of project. I am also working to continually create design standards and ensure that design team delivers quality designs, accurate estimates, and thorough construction details for the installation crew. Furthermore I actively provide material and construction expertise to ensure designs are functional, meet local building regulations, and exceed client expectations. I actively review and edit final presentations created by design team, review all estimates for accuracy and profitability. In addtion to managing the work of the design team, I also work directly with company owner on large multi-faceted projects, creating design concepts and 3D presentations in VizTerra, SketchUp, and Dynascape. Lastly, I am responsible for the research and development of a multiple overhead recovery pricing structure as part of the implementation of pricing software. My research and implementation of the estimation system has involved continued Identification of points of profit-loss and areas of improvement. I have been actively Instructing the entire staff on how to best utilize the new pricing software.
