An education enthusiast with a proven track record of leading institutional change, I am the Chief Academic Officer of the world renown École Hotelière de Lausanne Group, Switzerland. In this role, I formulate the vision and define and implement the strategy of EHL Group in terms of practical and academic training and set the rules and principles for the organization, governance and academic quality of all educational entities of EHL Group. Here, particular attention is paid to all aspects related to the accreditation and quality assurance, with the aim of continuous improvement and promotion of the EHL brand. Finally, I directly participate in the selection and appointment of deans and academic leaders of all training entities of EHL Group.Most recent successes include obtaining the EduTrust Certification to open the future EHL Campus in Singapore in 2021 and creating the "EHL Certification Scheme", EHL's quality assurance framework for international hospitality management Schools. During my career at EHL, I have also had the privilege to formulate and implement EHL's Riks Management strategy and ensure the School's reaccreditation for a 10-year period. I am also proud to have set up the Institutional Research Unit and led the standardization of key statistical data to support decision-making.Before joining EHL, I was Deputy General Director of the Board of Higher Education of the State of Vaud - Switzerland were I supported the Education Minister implementing new legislation on higher education, lobbying at the State and Federal levels to secure cantonal interests. Strategic planning, political savviness and communication were key success factors in a context of across-the-board reforms and increased university autonomy. I hold a PhD from the University of London, which led me, in what seems like another life, to conducted research and consultancy mandates on the funding, governance and accreditation of universities in international settings.For more than 20 years now, education has been both my passion and my job.
