With originality, creativity and critical thinking, I have designed diverse communication and marketing strategies that address complex global business issues. Using storytelling as the foundation for communication, I create tailored and unique concepts for each individual and organization I work with. My groundbreaking communications and marketing ideas have used the power of narrative to address organizational change, reputation, M&A, ESG and to build brands for companies, products and people. Early in my career I created the first communication and training program to address sexual harassment in the United States. That program launched me into the field of communications. I have championed the role of business in society and I have worked for positive and sustainable social change. I lead workshops globally for social entrepreneurs on the application of marketing and communication principles . As a professor. my classes focus on leadership, reputation, thought leadership. marketing and communication through the application of outcome-based principles. A left and a right brain thinker, my strength is coming up with ideas and the know how to see these ideas through to successful implementation. Driven by a desire to bring new value, I hold myself and my work to high standards and am recognized for my generosity in sharing information and advice to clients, colleagues and students. I have lectured at Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Purdue, University of Michigan, Northwestern among others and am a proud undergraduate and graduate faculty member at NYU and Columbia University. My industry experience spans medical device, diversified industrials, financial services, technology, aerospace, consulting and distribution. As a lifelong learner I am never reliant on what has been done before. Tapping into years of experience as an elected corporate officer of global public companies, board positions in non-profits in the arts and as a professor, my insights allow me to assist clients in exploring beyond the conventional and expected. I have interviewed thousands of people throughout the world on film from the mailroom to the boardroom, on farms and in factories, along with Heads of State, Nobel Laureates, Pulitzer Prize recipients, Hall of Famers, Oscar, Tony, Emmy and Peabody winners. This experience as a professional film interviewer helps me elicit the best stories from each person I work with.Believing that everyone has a great story to tell, my work is shaped by what is possible, inspired by an outlook of what could be possible.
