He is a Solutions Architect that has an extensive business and industry knowledge and has a level of understanding of the different systems required for financial institutions to meet statutory, regulatory, financial disclosure and performance analysis requirements. Financial institutions are faced with significant regulatory challenges, market pressure, rising customer expectation, increasing competition from new non-traditional competitors and the constant cybersecurity threat. Over the years, he has helped financial institutions by building solutions to address specific challenges and take into account all other related aspects. Often times complex ecosystems built over the years add risk to any IT initiative in financial institutions. These risks can be compounded by the corporate structure making initiatives that cross reporting lines even more difficult to manage. He has successfully implemented measures to mitigate these risks when deploying target solutions.He is familiar with products designed to meet statutory, regulatory and financial disclosure requirements put forward by two major solution providers: Oracle and SAP. He was involved in projects aimed at deploying Oracle OFSAA, Financial Accounting Hub (FAH), Balance Sheet Planning (BSP) and E-Business Suite (EBS) as well as SAP Financial Product Subledger (FPSL), SAC Planning and S/4HANA. He has gained a unique perspective on these products, their strengths and weaknesses and ability to connect to other niche vendors such as QRM, Moody’s and others. He has helped organisations plan their roadmap to the cloud, leveraging Amazon Web Service (AWS) and Microsoft Azure as deploying platforms.He is an outstanding communicator, and he demonstrates exceptional leadership skills when interacting with executives, clients and colleagues.
