As part of the team at a leading climatetech focused investment firm, I provide commercial guidance for some of their portfolio's startups. Here is my history/track record in 5 bullets:- After holding SVP of Digital Partnerships/Revenue roles at major entertainment companies like Sony Music, Sony Pictures, Warner Bros. and AOL entertainment; I decided to use all that I had learned to help grow startups as, usually, CRO/CMO/GM. Head business guy. - The four startups where I spent that time all had succesful exits: Huffington Post, Flixster/Fandango, Verve Mobile, and Arrivalist. - My "jam" is the ability to translate brilliant product and tech visions into marketplace positioning, business partnerships and revenue. I have always been a participant in board meetings and always work extra hard to have great relationships with my peers, e.g., CTO, CFO.- I've hired 100s of talented pros, and some have even followed me to 3-4 places. (I am so grateful to all of them.) I've done my job with small teams crammed into tiny "We-Work" offices, but also with global teams of 120 professional reports. I've managed significant teams in Latin America, Asia and the UK. I've been at companies with barely any revenue that we grew to $100mm. I've managed P&Ls of $200mm plus . I have a special talent for developing/leading cross organizational long-term strategic partnerships: $10mm - $100mm+.- Currently I am Advisor, Director of Marketing for Sandy Spring Climate Partners, a climatetech focused investment firm.
