I was hired to take over the recruiting function at this consulting company. We had 5 locations and at the apex, over 350 consultants with sckills in Mainframe, As/400, Client/Server, Lotus Notes, JD Edwards. I managed one recruited and each of the managers( Mainframe, Lotus Notes, Recruiting, etc.) ran their departments as a business. It was one of the most unique situations.
