Commodity management with the responsibility to create and manage a North American sourcing strategy for steel stamped components for Laundry and Refrigeration platforms, with an annual spend of US$48M. Lead negotiations for pricing, rebates, pay terms with suppliers. Drive and execute supply agreements and legal contracts with suppliers. Guide all production forecast, annual sales, as well as resource planning. Standard Work Lean Challenge project decreased cycle time in AC/EVO Fleet Inspection program by 19%.• 2nd Rotation – New Product Introduction Engineer at GE Transportation Manufacturing at San Luis Potosí: Participated in development and business pitch of two main projects that represented a production increase of 50% and decreased fully burden labor rate by 7% at a locomotive component manufacturing and repair site.• 3rd Rotation – Materials Buyer/Planner at GE Transportation Manufacturing at San Luis Potosí: Executed NPI projects from previous role from a material fulfillment point of view, managing a US$7MM spend and supporting US$10MM in sales, with an OTD of 90% in 6 month period.• 4th Rotation – Production Supervisor at GE Transportation Manufacturing at Apodaca: Responsible for locomotive traction motor stator production line, achieving a 99% Goal Vs Plan output with an Average Takt Time Attainment of 90%. Used Lean Tools to reduce Time on Units from 16 to 14 hours.

• Responsible for developing state-of-the-art tools & processes that measure & support the enhancement and overall performance of GE Transportation Systems Supply Chain by using Business Intelligence (BI) developers practice. Additionally served as the lead buyer and commodity of the GE Motor Coils Emporium, Pennsylvania Repair Shop, handling all direct material including copper for motor coils & all components for motor armatures (175 parts – US$1M Annual Buy).

• Specialize in teaching children from K to 12 Grade levels in mastering proper study skills, increase their concentration and develop mental agility through personalized programs with focus in the subjects of math, reading and writing. I ceased my role and participation due to my relocation with the GE OMLP Program.

• Responsible for determine and document any areas that may need improvement through inspecting and sampling the whole manufacturing process; follow up by implementing methodologies, evaluation criteria and preventive/corrective processes that guarantee a quantitative improvement at inventory warehouse, assembly line and functional tests of x-ray tubes assembled at the site. Establish and maintain active contact with suppliers to negotiate solutions regarding defective material on the material review board.

• Main Project: Responsible for the design and full development of a sales management database system which covered supplier information, registration documentation, regulatory certifications, product catalogue, and contracts; primarily using SQL and the FileMaker platform. • Side Projects: 1) Development of an evaluation methodology for the classification of medical devices in the unit of hemodynamics and interventionist cardiology. 2) Design of Surgical Packages for a broad range of Hernia Operations.

• Responsible for providing an educational atmosphere for groups of approximately 25 students at elementary, middle school and high school levels, covering subjects such as: computers, chemistry, math, algebra, science and social studies while following all school policies, showing strong leadership and management skills and promoting respect and responsibility to students. On occasions a lesson plan was provides, on others I had the liberty to take on class by my own lead. Job was at an on-call duty basis.
