- Facilitate new client onboarding- Add/Remove and modify monitoring of devices utilizing snmp and perl scripts- Perform account management for existing clients

- Monitor clients’ networks, systems, and dedicated Internet connections using a wide variety of tools within the consolidated 24x7x365 Network Operations Center- Prioritize and perform triage on network and system trouble tickets. Assist in the identification, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues where possible- Escalate to and work with senior engineers when necessary.- Provide alert response as well as email and telephone technical support for data center and managed services clients.- Take ownership of the incident/request and drive it to resolution.- Document and track troubleshooting steps and incident solutions and support requests.- Keep clients informed throughout the process and follow up with them to ensure satisfactory resolution.- Coordinate with coworkers to balance the workload and keep them apprised of open issues.- Work closely with service account managers and situation managers to ensure clients’ business needs are met. - Guide and mentor less experienced teammates by providing technical support, training, and direction.

- Assist Network Administrator with tasks which include setting up new laptops for employees- Configure Windows 7 Pro with custom settings tailored to employee’s role in the company; includes installing software, changing profile settings, adding proper local and domain user profiles and implementing base-line hardening practices on PC.- Complete help desk calls both locally and remotely using LogMeIn to ensure 100% availability of employee’s data, programs and email which include all Microsoft Office 2007/2010 Professional programs and printer network/driver issues.- Responsible for configuring full and incremental backups of over 15 servers (server 2003/2008) using Symantec Backup Exec 12 and Vice Versa software.- Replace hardware in server room to include installation of array disks, server 2008 R2 (profile and data servers) and adding/configuring NetGear Ready NAS storage. Install networking cables throughout office space and connecting workstations/printers to the domain.Create and modify users, computers, and groups in AD server 2008 R2 locally or via Remote Desktop.
