I'm a digital strategist and leader with twenty years' experience planning, building, and managing bulletproof products for web and mobile, along with the cross-discipline teams that bring those projects to life.Currently, I'm helping the Newspack team bring on more partners to our fantastic platform built to help publishers grow and succeed online.In the early (heyday) of blogging, I built websites and consulted on marketing and editorial strategy for bloggers and entrepreneurs. During this time, I designed the original brand and website for Media Bloggers Association, the world’s largest advocacy organization for bloggers. I also helped to plan the organization's highly-successful BlogNashville conference, including the development of a web-based aggregation tool that garnered national media attention from PBS and others.My book, 'Michael Moore Is A Big Fat Stupid White Man' (co-authored with David T. Hardy), spent six weeks on The New York Times non-fiction best seller list in the summer of 2004. The book garnered positive reviews from the Stanford Review of Books, Flint Journal, and others (read reviews at http://jasonclarke.org/writing/moorebook) for its deconstruction of propaganda filmmaker Michael Moore. The book arose from Moorelies.com, a weblog I built and edited that logged over 5 million unique visitors and hundreds of media hits during its two-year run in 2003-2004, when it was one of a relatively small handful of sites at the forefront of the blogging revolution.
