Primary Responsibilities: Manage large multifamily development projects from land acquisition to construction permitting. Primary Responsibilities: Direct the operations of the Bloomington/Monroe County Metropolitan Planning Organization (BMCMPO), as staffed by the Planning & Transportation Department. Lead the preparation of the annual Unified Planning Work Program. Direct the development of the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) that allocates over $30 Million in Federal transportation funds for the region. Lead the development and implementation of transportation plans, policies and programs for the Bloomington urbanized area. Represent the BMCMPO on the Indiana MPO Council. Present MPO policies, plans and programs to the public and the MPO governing committees.Key Experience: Led the creation of the State’s first Complete Streets Policy in 2009. Managed the development of the 2030 Long Range Transportation Plan and the 2040 Metropolitan Transportation Plan. Led the planning and presentation of the 2012 Indiana State MPO Conference in Bloomington. Served as a committee member for the Indiana State Department of Health’s Indiana Healthy Weight Initiative.

Primary Responsibilities: Serve as Department’s lead planner on long range plans and studies under policy direction of the Planning Director. Supervise the work programs of the Long Range Planner and Department interns. Coordinate Department’s GIS and information management needs. Coordinate the City’s long range planning needs and activities with related needs and activities of the Bloomington/Monroe County Metropolitan Planning Organization. Serve as liaison with Monroe County Planning and Building Departments to advance goals of the City. Represent long range planning interests on the City’s Development Review Committee. Represent Planning Department on the City’s Council for Neighborhood Improvements.Key Experience: One of the primary authors of the 2002 Growth Policies Plan. Consult with adjacent property owners, developers, and neighborhood organizations regarding enforcement matters.
