As a Postdoctoral Scientist at Medizinische Universität Wien, I apply my extensive knowledge and skills in molecular biology, virology, and data science to advance the understanding and prevention of infectious diseases. With over five years of experience in virology research, I have contributed to several publications and projects, including the establishment of virus variant surveillance in Austria during the Covid-19 pandemic.My passion for science and innovation stems from my early involvement in the prestigious "Jugend forscht" competition and the Berlin Conservation Award, where I developed and presented a project on microbial bioremediation. Since then, I have pursued my academic journey in Heidelberg, London, Hamburg, and Vienna, earning a Master's degree in Molecular Biotechnology, a Professional Certificate in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, and a DOC Fellowship of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. I learned to understand, analyze, and visualize complex data sets in order to extract meaningful information and insights.
