As campus chairperson at Imperial College London, I represent the charity's work and provide a space for students interested in public and global health. My responsibilities involve: -Leading my committee and holding regular meetings to discuss running of our society -Planning and delivering presentations/engagement events for students interested in global health -Fundraising for GB so that they can provide support to under-resourced communities 365 days a year -Organising a student brigade to an under-resourced community annually

My role as an intern was to fundraise for Global Brigades through various methods before visiting Greece to work alongside refugees. While working with refugees in Greece, I was able to support the paediatrician during patient consultations, translate for French-speaking refugees and understand the country's refugee crisis.

Liaised with the Imperial College NHS Healthcare Trust to run a virtual work experience programme for In2MedSchool students. This involved: -designing and distributing sign-up forms -advertising the opportunity through various platforms -responding to queries and liaising with students and schools where relevant -collecting feedback on the WE programme through a survey -analysing how the WE programme impacted students and their perceptions to applying to medicine
