The protocol is binary to reduce number of bytes transferred over network. - The communication from device to server is implemented in both TCP/IP and UDP.

Worked on:Worked on :Programming Languages: C, C++Hardware Platforms: ARMOperating systems: Linux, uCLinuxAudio Video Codecs: MJPEG, SPEEX, MPEG2, H.2641) SpyGuard Motion based Camera: - Designed the whole software and implemented it making it a completely configurable system. - Implemented Video clip capturing and storage space management to store video clips on USB pen drive. - Designed and implemented the communications protocol between web server and SpyGuard camera over HTTP. - Implemented video clip upload scheduling and uploading multiple clips at a time using the sliding window protocol.2) BACNet to Modbus Protocol Converter - Reverse engineering of the protocol on which the Bluetar central AC’s communicate. - Implemented the protocol bridge after reverse engineering for reading and writing the Data points on the Central AC. - Designed and developed protocol to make this device configurable over the TCP/IP protocol. - Implemented only the required BACNet components to meet the BMS requirement.3) Digital Home - Implemented software in single thread. - Implemented RS-485 based protocol that supports multiple masters over a common channel to avoid the unnecessary polling that is done in Master-Slave protocol. - Network programming to communicate with central server. - Designed and implemented Multiplexer for mixing of MPEG2 Audio and MPEG2 Video. - Ported SPEEX echo canceller for Audio-Video door phone application.
