As a Senior R&D Engineer, I have the exciting opportunity to identify customer needs and develop“win-win” solutions. In this role, I lead successful development efforts by:• Chairing customer meetings to identify unmet needs and objectives;• Developing optimal design solutions in collaborative teams, including analytical and experimental design validation and Design-to-Cost analyses;• Facilitating discussions across functions and leadership levels, including product strategy sessions and risk mitigation workshops;• Protecting Intellectual Property through IP strategies and patent filings.I have assumed progressive responsibility in project management by planning and executing development efforts. For example, I led a product qualification effort to completion on-budget and on-schedule with a project team spanning two business units and four sites. This accomplishment was recognized by our Vice President of Technology and Director of Program Management.These experiences have helped me discover an interest in strategic leadership. I am pursuing this formally through the MBA program at the University of Texas at Dallas.
