I have more than five years of experience as a software engineer at iRobot, where I develop and enhance the iRobot Home App for Android devices. The app has over 1 million users and allows them to control and interact with their smart home robots and devices, such as Roomba, Braava, and Terra.My core competencies include Kotlin, Java, C++, Android, and Swift, which I use to create and improve features and functionalities that improve the user experience and satisfaction. Some of the projects I have led or contributed to include account linking, return home, and automations with partners like Amazon, Google, Apple, and IFTTT. I also create documentation, support release schedules, and build webRTC mobile libraries.As a passionate and innovative mobile developer, I always seek new technologies and industry standards that can benefit the company and its customers. I have obtained multiple certifications in Swift and IT security, and I have also participated in leading scrum activities and providing feedback for best practices and new tools.In addition, I am a team lead of the Hispanic Employee Resource Group at iRobot, where I promote diversity and inclusion in the tech industry and help iRobot attract and retain talented professionals from different backgrounds and perspectives.
