Director Of EcommerceSports Research Jan 2022 - Nov 2023Managed a 9-figure amazon business with a $25m+ ad budget.As Director of Ecommerce, I hired and onboarded a new Ecommerce team to handle 3P and D2C operations. I negotiated contracts with new agencies to save the company $1M+/year in management fees. I launched a new business intelligence suite, bringing all company sales channels and systems into one hub, allowing for alerts and quicker insights on changes in the marketplace. I also rolled out automated forecasting across the business which helped us eliminate a large OOS issue which had limited sales growth in the past. I launched new marketplace channels and my team was very involved in the acquisition of new brick and mortar opportunities like the nationwide launch of Sports Research Triple-Strength Omega in Costco stores nationwide and the Vitamin D3+K2 product on Costco.com.During my tenure, Sports Research went through a full rebrand. My team and I were essential in facilitating that process across the business. From contracting with brand agencies, to creating the project management process for the business and designing a seamless transition of FBA inventory of old branding to new branding with no loss of momentum, and in managing the creation and upload of new images, bullets, content and premium A+ across hundreds of SKUs. I also led the redesign, buildout and launch of 2 new branded Shopify websites which launched on time. We were also early adopters of the Buy With Prime > Shopify cart.Through my contacts with Amazon, we were able to get access to discounted unique ad property like an Amazon.com homepage takeover, Subscribe & Save management page banners, Thursday Night Football ad placements, and special Spanish language advertising opportunities. We grew our Subscribe & Save active subscriptions to over 400,000, gained best seller badging in many new categories and had the top performing Prime Day deal HPC in Canada. -

Restructured the web team, onboarding a product manager, project managers and creating dev leads. Instituted SCRUM project management, increasing team efficiency and beginning a steady cadence of feature releases and enhancements. Through cross-functional leadership, oversaw replatform of www.Nordic.com from Magento 2 to Shopify Plus, completed in less than 5 months from start to launch.
