Joined Seclytics as the first employee to build the product from the ground up. Designed and built the Seclytics' threat intelligence API using Flask. The API is fully self-documented with Marshmallow and apispec to create a swagger file on every deployment.Transformed ML classifiers written in R to scikit-learn for use in the Seclytics' API.Designed the entire infrastructure to use CI/CD and autoscaling in AWS to be as cost efficient and scalable as possible.Created the Seclytics Dashboard using Ruby on Rails that gives customers an easy way to view and understand Seclytics' threat intel and investigate attacks within their own networks.Designed an efficient data model to store billions of individual historical threat intel entries. 12Engines was a company that created websites automatically for businesses using their social network profiles. This made updating their website as easy as posting an update to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

Started as an Associate Software Engineer in the Security Labs and quickly went up the ranks to become a Senior Software Engineer.Senior Software Engineer:Represented the Security Labs on a cross department team developing Websense's next generation product that combined Webense's Email, Web and DLP security into a single product. Led a small team building an automated threat detection and archival system.Quickly saved a product that was going to be shown at a big security conference. Software Engineer II:Developed a novel way to secure Android devices with Websense's cloud proxy. Instead of building out entire VPN cluster I used the existing proxy infrastructure. Using Android's VPN API I was able to create what I coined as a "self terminating" VPN by transforming the raw network bytes on the phone in user space to proxy requests. Software Engineer I:Modernized the Security Lab's existing infrastructure. I took projects that people dreaded to touch. For example, I took one the most important modules that had minimal to no tests. Refactored it, added a full test suite, drastically improved the functionality while maintaining backwards compatibility.Advocated for and implemented automated deployments. I inventoried and documented every server used by my team and moved them automated deployments.Associate Software Engineer:Worked closely with security researchers to develop new tools for detecting malicious content. Created the first spam, malicious content and profanity filter for Facebook. With Websense's threat intelligence I created a moderation tool for Facebook pages.
