John has been playing, singing, and writing music since he was about nine years old, playing in various bands including The Gratton Brothers, The Firewater Experience, Breaking Root, and currently Citizen Bare. He has also been hired to play guitar for several occasions such as weddings, birthdays, churches, and other events.His influences include the likes of The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Freddie King, B.B.
