I am an aeronautical engineer specialized in design and manufacturing, with experience in the field of maintenance and operation of especial mission aircrafts, including multidisciplinary projects with responsibilities such as yearly planning, estimation and budgeting of: hangar facilities and ground support equipment; technical staff training, aircraft major components maintenance and efficiency/regulatory related modifications as well as aircraft operating related supplies such as fuel and third-party services; coordination and supervision of these projects, with the purchasing and legal deparment to assure the understanding between all parts in order to cover all administrative, legal and technical requirements. Finally I was involved in coordination, supervision and quality assuring of the technical implementation of the planned/purchased major activities by organizing technical personnel during the implementation of engineering and maintenance activities. Some of the projects related to the mentioned responsibilities are:Supervision and technical support to high level management and legal team during the acquisition, as well as structural and avionics modification of a turbofan aircraft in a joint project with stakeholders of three countries.Coordination and management of the equipment purchasing and development of the procedures needed to obtain the permit for aircraft heavy maintenance.Coordination of company aviation operational area and USA aviation authorities in order execute the flight test and technical supporting mandatory to obtain reduced vertical separation minimum (RVSM) operative approval.Creation of the scope and technical requirements needed for the installation of the Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) system in the company fleet, coordinating and supporting legal team in order to come up with a purchase agreement with a Canadian company. Supervising the installation execution including the collaboration in the flight test plan establishment and execution.Right now I am studying a full time master degree in aircraft controls and operations with courses including systems identification, robust control, as well as operations optimizations, in order to obtain better tools for a systemic understanding of air and space vehicles with the aim of managing high complex space and aviation projects.I am interested in working on international highly complex air-space related projects and as part of my master I am looking for an internship position that could provide me with this interesting experience.

Technical ManagerTruenoordDelft, Zh, Nl -
Msc ThesisTu Delft | Aerospace Engineering Feb 2024 - Oct 2024Delft, South Holland, NetherlandsThesis research project that aimed to develop a robust controller that combines the versatility of the INDI control technique with the guaranteed robust performance of H-infinity loop shaping design process (LSDP), resulting in improved disturbance rejection and model uncertainty robustness. The quadrotor equations of motion are provided, and a nonlinear aerodynamic model based on flight test data is presented to improve the fidelity of the quadrotor model to be used for controller validation. The resulting controller is tested and compared with a PD controller. Attitude control simulations were performed under different compensators to verify the effects of different robust controllers. The influence of the type of robust controller with respect to the disturbance rejection response in combination with the INDI implementation for the 6 DOF nonlinear quadrotor simulator is explored. The simulations performed prove the higher performance rejection capabilities of the robustified system. -
Aeronautical Workshop Airworthiness Accountable ManagerBanco De México Nov 2019 - Aug 2022Ciudad De México Y Alrededores, MéxicoAs an Airworthiness Accountable Manager, I was responsible for overseeing the continuous airworthiness (safety) of the aircraft operated by the Central Bank of Mexico. Fleet composed by three regional size aircrafts, type models DHC-8-202 and CL-600-2C10. This involved ensuring that all maintenance and engineering activities required for aircraft operation complied with both local and international aviation regulations. I achieved this by establishing Quality and Safety Management Systems, for which I was directly responsible for quality assurance and heavily involved in the safety management system. I was also in charge of certifying structural and avionics repairs and modifications under the workshop permit. This required me to verify the systematic implementation of work on the aircraft, ensuring that all safety standards were met. Notable examples include the repair and return to service of an aircraft struck by lightning, the replacement and certification of an aileron control system (which involved defining the flight test plan), and the modification of the GPS, transponder, and FMS systems to make an aircraft ADS-B capable, in collaboration with Avmax in Canada. On the administrative side, I was responsible for organizing technician training, including flight simulation sessions with Flight-Safety and Bombardier partners in Canada. I also oversaw the definition and updating of technical standard procedures in the Workshop Policies and Procedures Handbook. Additionally, I participated annually in budget planning and managed contracts with various parts and service suppliers. -
Production And Planning EngineerBanco De México May 2017 - Nov 2019Ciudad De México Y Alrededores, MéxicoAs a Production and Planning Engineer, I was involved in fleet maintenance planning and scheduling, providing in-service support to technical personnel for troubleshooting system failures, and preparing technical work order instructions for the implementation of airworthiness directives, service bulletins, and other technical requirements to ensure aircraft compliance with aviation regulations. In the area of planning and scheduling, I improved the aircraft maintenance program by optimizing task execution times. This was achieved by sectorizing maintenance tasks and taking into consideration in the technical skills of personnel, based on historical data. On the troubleshooting side, I supported the resolution of system issues across all aircraft systems. This included pressurization tests, checks of hydraulic actuators, proximity sensing system verifications, engine run up tests and rigging, and troubleshooting GPS and transponder interference during landing, among other cases. This experience provided me with a strong systemic understanding of complex systems. Regarding regulations, I was responsible for ensuring compliance with airworthiness directives issued by the FAA and EASA, as well as planning and scheduling the necessary activities to meet these regulatory requirements. Finally, I was directly involved in a major modification of a CRJ700 aircraft, the first of its kind in the world. This project involved cutting the fuselage and adding a larger door than the aircraft was originally designed for. It gave me practical insight into the complexities of modifying pre-designed aircraft, including a systemic understanding of how to meet all structural, electrical, avionics, and safety requirements while addressing the operational needs of the Central Bank and its unique operations. -
