Individual contributor to large Python and React codebases for a startup in the insurance industry.

Served as team lead and Scrum Master for a team with four engineers. Spearheaded transition to component-based AngularJS applications.

Built microservices in a variety of technologies, from ASP.NET to Node.js to Python. Dockerized legacy Python services and transitioned Grunt builds to Gulp and Webpack.

Part of a development team supporting a large application spanning VB6, .NET 2.0, and .NET 3.5 codebases. Delivered a several month project that allows customers to create custom reports in a variety of different formats, and including over 900 different data fields to select from.

Employed part-time while not on co-op at Thomson West. Administered the RIT Digital Media Library, based on the DSpace repository platform. Tasks included Java/J2EE programming, HTML and CSS cleanup, and setup of a Subversion repository and automated building and deployment using Ant.

Employed for two separate co-op sessions, from March to November 2007, then from May to November 2008. Worked on two separate Windows applications, delivering requested new functionality as well as rewriting components from Delphi to C#.

Worked on modifying soapUI to support IBM Websphere MQ protocols instead of HTTP in order to test new services, as well as handling smaller changes to the company's J2EE web site.

Worked with mapping software written in Visual C++ and the Objectivity object-oriented database. This was also the only time I'd ever had an office, which in retrospect was pretty amazing.
