Licensed Professional Engineer in NJ, MA and OH and a licensed Professional Planner in NJ with a particular interest in water supply and infrastructure rehabilitation. I also have an interest in training future generations of engineers and had served as an adjunct professor at NJIT for four years. I served as a Planning Board Member for Morristown from 2002 through 2008 and again from 2010 to present. I have been the Chairman of the Planning Board since January 2012. In this capacity, I am very familiar with the use of redevelopment projects to spur market sector growth. I am active with the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and have achieved the level of Life Member. As a member of the NJ Section of AWWA, I have served as the chair of the technical program and strategic planning committees. I have served as the chair of the NJ Section board. I have received the NJ Section George Warren Fuller award. On the AWWA national level, I am a member of the Water Treatment Facilities Design & Construction Committee since January 2014 and am a trustee of the engineering and construction division. I have served on the Alumni Association of NJIT's board of directors from May 2004 to June 2014 and again from July 2015 to June 2022. I was the President of the Alumni Association July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2014 and again from May 2017 to June 2018. I have served on various university committees including the Trustees Committee on Advancement, the Shared Governance Steering Committee, President's Task Force on Alumni Relations and the NJIT Presidential Search Committee. I am also a member since 2009 of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering Industrial Advisory Board, formerly serving as its chair. I have also served as the chair of the Alumni Weekend Committee and member of the Awards Committee for the NJIT Alumni Association. I serve on the Newark College of Engineering Board of Visitors.
