The highlight of this role is being the 'advisor'. Being an Investment Advisor includes solving the immediate need of clients but also spotting offers and hidden opportunities on clients' profile and presenting them to the clients. Going above and beyond for the client is the intention. Having in depth knowledge of all registered and non-registered investment plans and options of investments within them is now muscle memory. In addition to this, outbound calls made regarding ongoing campaigns is also a part of the role. Going over the clients' profile quickly and efficiently, all while introducing myself and the campaign is a skill I learnt during outbound calls. Offering digital methods of doing transactions is also a part of the role, in order to make sure all clients are digitally enabled and educated. Leveraging my colleagues within branches and other departments in order to find the best solutions for clients is also my focus within the role.

Focussed on assisting business clients with their day-to-day banking needs. Keeping in mind business clients' very busy daily schedules, finding the fastest resolution to issues or concerns at hand. In addition to taking care of the immediate need, another major part of the role was to spot hidden opportunities for products or services that could potentially help clients with their business banking. Bringing up those opportunities and offers in a manner that would highlight the benefit was a skill I learnt in this role. In addition to this, setting up business accounts over the phone, leveraging colleagues in other departments to grow clients' banking, using internal tools and applications to solve any inquiries were also a major part of the role.

Focussed on assisting personal banking clients with their day-to-day banking needs.Major responsibilities of the role included reviewing clients' profile briefly in order to find opportunities to present to the client geared towards their best interest, in addition to taking care of their immediate needs; leveraging colleagues in other departments in order to find the best solutions for clients; setting up new banking accounts; probing for the best resolution in case of complaints and finding the most convenient solutions accordingly.

Worked with customers coming from varied style backgrounds and helped them with styling based on their personalized needs and choices. In addition to that, worked hand-in-hand with the team and management members in keeping the premises tidy and organized.

While in training for this role, I learnt the various management skills to be carried on behind the scenes of the busy fast food restaurant. Some of those many skills included creating the monthly schedule for all the employees while keeping in mind their respective requested time-offs, holidays, times and days of the week. Another skill I learnt was related to inventory - counting the leftover stock of all the material, figuring out an estimate for the upcoming months and placing the order accordingly. In addition to that, supervision of all the swing managers as well as crew members to ensure a smooth, friendly and promising service at all times was an all-time important job.

While supervising and managing a team of about 8 crew members to make sure the service provided to the customers was top-notch at all times, I also worked behind the scenes in the office to fulfill other managerial demands that the role brings. That included taking up customer complaints (over the phone as well as in person) and making sure they are all dealt with in the best way possible. I also had the responsibility of balancing out all the cash registers at the end of each shift and closing the cash deposit safely.

As a part of the crew team, one of the main responsibilities were to make sure all the customers are attended to with a polite and welcoming manner, from the time they place their orders until they leave the premises. While taking orders, I was also to make sure all the condiments and beverages are stocked up at all times. This taught me time management and work efficiency. While in this role, I ended up becoming my teammates' and managers' favourite because of my amicable nature and the ability to make sure that my customers left with a smile.

While in this role, I learnt time management and the importance of working fast and accurately. One of the main responsibilities as a crew member at Subway was to make sure all the customers are satisfied with their food and service, and that was hence my job as well. During the shifts, it was also an important responsibility to make sure all the food items are stocked up so that fast service could be provided to the customers.
