Hi all! You are now browsing Jason Guo's home page. Though on my passport it says Jixin, I sort of made it easier for my dear American friends who kept asking me if it should be pronounced as Jicsin. Speaking of my career path, I have touched two fields which do not necessarily resemble each other: music production and international education. It has been six years since I started making original music and music videos by the year of 2016. In order to better promote my works, I founded High Street Music Studio. It has now grown to be a well known original music production among Chinese community, reaching an average click-through rate of two hundred thousand.Apart from the establishment of the studio, the entrepreneurial experience itself was very valuable to me as well. Skills such as strategic planning, management, marketing as well as public relation were sharpened along the growth of HSMS. As we managed to develop a unique but sustainable model of ourselves, bottlenecks started to appear and breakthroughs need to be done. Thus, I decided to pursue a degree of Master of Business Administration at the Johns Hopkins University in the year of 2014.Two years passed by so fast. It was time to decide where the next journey is. While my interest still lies in music, I am also aware of the opportunities occurring around me. As an international student myself who had been living in the states for over six years, I started to realize that international education is not only an important bridge that connects different cultures but also a great market to discover. Thus, with the help of my mentor Edward who is a well known figure in the field, I started Long Way International Education Management after I moved to Los Angeles. Our mission is to facilitate intercultural communication between China and Western world by matching the best education resources with excellent career opportunities. I believe this would be an exciting start of an extraordinary adventure.
