Back in 2000, I founded my first company. I was 16, full of ambition and daring to think big. I single-handedly started internet agency ICIT and am still involved in this award-winning agency as a shareholder. In the meantime, more initiatives came along. What started as an experiment ended up as a webshop for consumer electronics with an important position in the Dutch and Belgian market. Ultimately, Elektrokoopjes.nl was sold in July 2011. Besides leading our holding activities such as various acquisitions, real estate projects, and investments in startups, in recent years I have been mainly active within the mobility domain. After the experience in consumer electronics, the extreme innovation in a traditional market attracts me tremendously. Being able to add value by optimally using digital user experience and marketing. With TanQyou we introduced an interactive customer loyalty concept for the gasoline market. In 2016, as newbies, we opened our first gas station and today we operate more than 30 locations. But much more importantly, we are not a gas station chain, but a mobility platform. We have reshaped fueling into an integral mobility platform where we bring together everything around driving. Whether it's refueling, charging parking, or taxable trip registration.Meanwhile, the technology behind TanQyou has surpassed its own retail brand and the platform activities are independent. With the establishment of MoveYou in 2020, it provides white label MaaS, Payment and Data services throughout Europe aimed at the petrol market. Moveyou is a cloud platform with an integral approach to mobility, fuel and charging come together. Most of my businesses have one thing in common: the Internet.
