I designed an automated data collection process for use by the lab-wide cost forecasting model. The process, using SharePoint, InfoPath, and Excel including VBA, consolidated 65+ individual forms to 1 unified form that managers completed. In less than 20 seconds the submitted data could be compiled and a final report generated for use by the CFO and the Executive Management Team. The automated process saved the Modeling team 2 weeks’ worth of data manipulation workI was part of a 2 man partnership tasked with developing a new Cost Forecasting Model using PowerPivot and DAX Measures in Excel for use as an interactive forecasting tool. The model provides the flexibility to see budget historical amounts, forecasted amounts and the associated burden charges by multiple perspectives. The model cut two days’ worth of refreshing and calculating down to 30 seconds allowing for rapid analysis and real-time decision makingI created and administered SharePoint sites for multiple teams; sites included Business Intelligence Sites with Reporting Services tools, multiple team collaboration sites for smaller groups including interactive dashboards, interactive Web Parts with multiple connections using SharePoint Designer, discussion boards and workspaces

I served in Arequipa, Peru. I worked every day of the year among the Peruvian people. I worked with them in their gardens, home projects, serving meals and helping to build faith in Jesus Christ. While serving as a missionary, I was asked to serve as the financial officer for the mission overseeing the monthly disbursement of funds to the missionaries for living expenses, necessary purchases to run the office and helping other missionaries manage their money.
