Responsible for Oracle Data & Analytics sales within Capgemini UK’s Insights & Data global practice, including Go To Market offerings and the continued development of the Oracle community within Insights & Data.

John managed the Oracle team within Capgemini UK's Insight & Data business unit, which focussed on high quality solutions across Oracle's analytics, data integration and EPM product portfolio. A highly experienced Solution Architect with significant experience in the Oracle BI space, in particular around all aspects of Data Warehousing, including data modelling and ETL/E-LT design, where John is a Certified Oracle Data Warehousing Implementation Specialist.He has worked for a large number of clients across multiple sectors from both a project delivery and pre-sales perspective.Outside of project delivery activities, John also has responsibilities for the day to day management of a team of Oracle professionals with skills across the Oracle Analytics space, both on-prem and cloud.Responsible for talent management and sales proposition development within the Oracle Analytics team as well as managing the relationship with Oracle from the team perspective.

Worked within Capgemini's Business Information Management practice, working in the capacity of Solution Architect in the Oracle Business Intelligence team, specialising in Oracle BI and Data Warehousing solutions.

John held the position of Technical Team Manager and was responsible for the day to day management of a team of Oracle technical consultants, as well as project based delivery work, specialising in bespoke Oracle project implementations, such as those based around Oracle Portal and Oracle Discoverer.He originally started working for the company in 2001 as a senior consultant when it was known as Sysao PLC and remained with the company through several acquisitions, including Compel PLC during 2004 and 2e2 in early 2007.

John worked for Fusion Business Solutions, part of the Horizon Technology Group, as a senior Oracle technical consultant.

John started his Oracle career as a consultant on the graduate training programme at Oracle Corporation UK Ltd in 1995. He worked originally in the 'Comms, Energy and Telecoms' practice. He moved over to the technology specialist practice 'Methods and Tools' before finally moving over the EMEA Energy vertical practice. He worked on a large variety of projects, both large and small, in a diverse range of locations worldwide.
