Incline Village General Improvement District
The Incline Village General Improvement District, commonly referred to as IVGID, is a quasi-public agency established under Nevada Revised Statute, Chapter 318 and chartered to provide water, sewer, trash and recreation services for the communities of Incline Village and Crystal Bay, Nevada. It is governed by an elected Board of Trustees which, acting on behalf of the electorate, sets policy and determines strategies for the accomplishing its charter.IVGID manages and oversees several world-class recreational venues including: three private Lake Tahoe beaches, two public golf courses, a ski resort, a recreation center, a tennis center, and several public parks and ball fields. IVGID's total annual budget for both public works and community services departments hovers between $30-40M.As a part of the five member board, I help to guide policy decisions, set a budget, and oversee the District's hired general manager. My four-year term ends Dec 31, 2016.
